Location: Columbus, Ohio
Position Type: 12-month contract
Position term: Two days in office (Monday and Thursday) 3 days remote (subject to change).Candidates must be local or within a one-hour drive.
Senior level IT Developer to play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing software solutions that meet our customer needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and ensure the scalability, performance, and security of our software applications.
·Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test and deploy high-quality software solutions that meet project requirements.
·Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.
·Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to ensure code quality.
·Debug and troubleshoot software findings, defects, identifying root cause and implanting solutions.
·Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to gather and refine project requirement.
·Mentor junior developers, offering technical guidance and support as needed.
·Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.
Contribute to process improvements and the evolution of development methodologies during the contract period.
SKILLS
Experience in Service Now design, architecture, development, and configuration. (Required)
Experience working in an Agile software development environment. (Required)
Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, information technology or a related field. Required)
Service Now certifications. (Highly desired)
In-depth hands-on experience with configuration, including understanding its modules, work flows and configuration settings. (Nice to have)
Experience with NOW Assist. (Nice to have)
Experience with Service Now ITSM, CRM and HRM suite of applications (Required)
Experience working in an Agile software development environment (Required)
ServiceNow Expertise: A deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform, including its architecture, capabilities, and modules. Proficiency in Service (Required)
