Job Description We are seeking a Research Communications Manager to establish a robust communication program that keeps customers and partners informed and inspired with the latest developments and findings from our team. As a member of ServiceNow’s User Experience Research & Insights (UXRI) team, you will plan and execute a wide variety of internal and external communications activities, working closely with researchers to deliver curated insights through newsletters, webinars, briefings, and other mediums to our ecosystem of customers. Your work will showcase the voice of our research participants, demonstrating the power and impact of product feedback at scale. About you: You are a strategic and analytical thinker, passionate creator, and results-driven reporter with a high bar for craft, quality, and creativity. You can decode large sets of information and create a meaningful narrative around them. You have a love for storytelling that drives engagement, and always make decisions with the audience in mind. What you will do in this role: Establish and manage a comprehensive communication strategy for customer companies that engage in research activities Close the loop with customer companies by communicating the impact research insights have on product outcomes, via newsletters, presentations, websites, and other formats/channels Develop and host forums that provide a window into ServiceNow’s user-centered product development, in concert with Product Management, Product Success, Customer Success, and other groups concerned with the topic. Create and maintain a library of assets to be leveraged for external communications including infographics, customer visit reports, and executive summaries to ensure consistency and enhance the presentation of research findings. Curate a repository of UX enablement materials to help our customers create exceptional user experiences, including leading practices, guides, case studies, whitepapers, and industry reports. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in public relations, communications, communication design, community engagement or similar field Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications or similar interdisciplinary fields, or equivalent combination of education and experience Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout and graphic design, and print production skills are essential, as well as a keen eye for detail Resourceful, self-motivated, and able to independently manage projects and prioritize shifting workloads in a high-growth, ever-changing environment Ability to represent complex ideas and systems with clear narration, visualizations and illustrations that are both informative and inspiring to the audience Knowledge of typography, color theory, and layout principles Preferred Qualifications: Experience in enterprise PR and/or communications is appreciated Command of graphic design and presentation tools such as Miro, Keynote, Figma, Loop, PowerPoint, Word, and Adobe Creative Suite For positions in California (outside of the Bay Area), we offer a base pay of $142,700 - $249,800, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs (subject to eligibility requirements). Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located, and is subject to change based on work location.
