Location: Initially Remote (with eventual relocation to Charlotte, NC, Palm Coast, FL, or Dallas, TX)Job Type: PermanentCompensation Range: $55,000 - 65,000 per yearWe are looking for a ServiceNow Developer to join our client's dynamic team!As a ServiceNow Developer, you will be instrumental in developing, configuring, and managing ServiceNow applications while ensuring alignment with ITIL and ITSM frameworks.This role is initially remote but will require relocation to one of our client's offices in Charlotte, NC, Palm Coast, FL, or Dallas, TX.Responsibilities: ServiceNow DevelopmentDevelop, configure, and manage ServiceNow applications using scripting and low code/no code implementations.Create and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, ACLs, and Workflows.Implement ITIL and ITSM best practices using the ServiceNow platform.Migration and Environment ManagementMigrate code to higher environments (dev, QA, prod) ensuring smooth transitions without issues or rollbacks.Review, monitor, and troubleshoot workflows using the Workflow Editor.Technical SkillsHands-on experience with web-based programming languages such as Angular, JSON, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Proficiency in using Service Portal, Flow Designer, Glide System/Glide Forms, and Client Scripts.Implement security mechanisms through Access Control Lists (ACLs).Integration and Directory ManagementPractical knowledge of Active Directory implementation using an LDAP server.Experience with integrations involving MID servers, CMDB, ITOM, and ITAM applications.Qualifications: Experience level: ExperiencedEducation: Associates (required)1-3 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development.Proficiency with Glide System and forms.Proven ability to migrate code across environments without issues or rollbacks.ITIL and ITSM certification or practical experience.Preferred Skills: Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Knowledge of security implementation and workflow management.
