The role

Our goal is to find a competent ServiceNow platform service team leader who can help us use ServiceNow in the best, most innovative, professional, and modern way. This involves continuous improvement of the environment by finding and improving the internal customer's needs, using new modules and new methods, and assisting the current employees. We promote the use of ServiceNow across SoftwareOne and regard this platform as one of the most essential in our environment.
You will lead a team of ServiceNow engineers, support, and administrators as the ServiceNow Platform Team Leader. Your role is to oversee the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of our ServiceNow platform. You will work with business stakeholders to comprehend business requirements, find ways to improve processes, and guarantee the efficient use of ServiceNow features to fulfill organizational needs.
The key responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a team of ServiceNow developers and administrators.Set clear objectives, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback to team members to ensure the achievement of goals and professional development.Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment conducive to creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement.ServiceNow Platform Development:Lead the design and development of ServiceNow solutions, including custom applications, modules, workflows, and integrations.Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze processes, and translate business needs into technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform.Ensure adherence to best practices, standards, and methodologies in ServiceNow development and configuration.
Platform Administration and Maintenance:
Oversee the administration and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform, including system configurations, upgrades, patches, and performance tuning.Manage platform security, user access controls, and data integrity to safeguard sensitive information and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Monitor platform usage, performance metrics, and service levels to identify areas for optimization and enhancement.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, HR, Finance, and other business units, to understand business requirements and priorities.Communicate effectively with stakeholders to manage expectations, provide updates on project statuses, and solicit feedback for continuous improvement.Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment of IT solutions with organizational goals and objectives
The key relationships:
Our implementation of ServiceNow includes multiple business units, as well as internal supporting units such as HR, IT, Finance and others. All of which are part of your internal customers. You will also work closely with our developers, our support teams and other part of the organization which has integratations into serviceNow. We are looking for a person with exceptional relationship management skills.
What We Need To See From You
Essential Skillsets:
5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development, configuration, and administration.Proven experience in leading and managing teams in a technical environment.In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, capabilities, and modules.Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and best practices.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical or computer engineering related degree is plus. The Capability to challenge existing and future designs, and to be able to constantly Improve and simplify the system.Proven ability to proactively use ServiceNow and Devops best practices while staying up-to-date with the latest trends.ServiceNow certification(s) such as Certified Application Developer (CAD), Certified System Administrator (CSA), or equivalent, preferred
