What You Will Do
The Service Now Architect is responsible for the design, architecture, implementation and administration of Service Now functionality in support of documented business needs. The goal of this individual will be to maximize Guidehouse’s investment in the Service Now platform and ensure that the capabilities are being utilized to their fullest. This position will report to the IT Director of Enterprise Applications and own the services of supporting the Service Management for IT and the rest of the Enterprise.
What You Will Need
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field and minimum 10 years of experience OR 14 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree Minimum 5 years of ServiceNow experience including implementation of new modules/functionalityExperience with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, deliverables, and controlsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsCollaborates with business clients and stakeholders to document business requirements and create both functional and technical specifications. Provides estimates and task planning as needed to support business cases and portfolio prioritization.Applies technical knowledge and experience to recommend solutions that achieve business requirements.Designs or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering system availability, capacity, operating schedules, and business results.Documents applications in support of policy compliance.Assesses software releases and documentation to optimize upgrades, enhancements, and changes to applications with consideration for interfaces and architecture.Designs, develops, tests, and implements functionality in accordance with best practices and the system development life cycle.Responsible for quality assurance of Service Now.Performs as project leader for small projects with limited duration. Directs and monitors the work of team members.Stays current with software development technology advances to enable production support and incident resolution that meets service level agreements.Interfaces with IT disciplines, vendors and professional services providers to ensure service level achievement.Produces work plans in support of project deliverables.Responsible for achieving project budget, schedule and functional objectives.

The annual salary range for this position is $131,600.00-$197,400.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
