Job Description The APAC Senior Tax Analyst is a core member of the ServiceNow Corporate Tax Team, with the primary responsibility of supporting the Tax Director - APAC in all external and internal tax reporting requirements for our legal entities in APAC region. You must have the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment and to work closely and proactively with numerous functional teams across our organization. This position will be based in Singapore. Support tax compliance for ServiceNow entities in the APAC region. Prepare work papers, coordinate with third party tax advisors to file corporate income returns and arrange for tax payments.Collaborate cross functionally with external statutory auditors and Financial Reporting Team to prepare or review tax disclosures in the statutory financial statements. Prepare income tax provision for APAC entities for USGAAP and local GAAP purposes, including current and deferred tax, tax payable reconciliations, tax accounts roll-forward and return-to-provision true-up.Support transfer pricing such as intercompany transactions analysis and local transfer pricing documentation.Provide support for tax audits and tax controversy matters in the region.Assist in M&A and tax planning/ restructuring projects, including modelling related tax impacts.Identify opportunities for process improvements to streamline and automate tax-related procedures.Support internal control testing and maintain SOX documentation and processes.Build collaborative working relationships with Legal, Accounting, FP&A, and Corporate Development Teams. Effective communication of tax considerations to business stakeholders.Research and evaluate tax impact of current and proposed tax legislation.Other ad hoc tax projects as needed. Qualifications At least 5+ years of corporate income tax experience in in public accounting and/or industry.Industry experience with large US-based high-tech multinational organizations is a plus.Advanced degree in Tax /Accounting is preferred. CPA is a plus.Strong Excel skills and knowledge of tax software such as OneSource tax provision is preferred.Experienced in research, analysis and documentation of complex tax issues.Experienced in SAP, Microsoft Power BI and Alteryx is a plus.Critical thinking skills with a “can do” attitude and attention to detail.Solid project management skills, including managing all aspects of relationships with internal and external resources.Self-motivated, team player/collaborative.
