Job Title ServiceNow Business Analyst, Divisional Job Description The Role This is an opportunity to join the team at a time of exciting change where we are transitioning from legacy systems and processes to ServiceNow. We are currently planning the implementation of ServiceNow leveraging our enterprise solution and replacing PL Re’s current ITSM tools. We are therefore seeking a highly capable Business Analyst with ServiceNow experience to contribute to the successful implementation of ServiceNow within the PL Re organisation. To be successful in this role, you will possess a strong background in Business Analysis, along with a deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform, having proven and demonstrable experience of implementing, enhancing and deploying ServiceNow. The role will require you to work closely with a wide range of stakeholders to provide analysis, configuration, delivery, testing and documentation support. Key Duties Drive process definition, improvement, engineering, and gap analysis of current vs. future processes.Identify solutions from a people, process and technology perspective during workshops with key stakeholders, generating the required outputs to the level required for the subsequent stages of delivery.Provide guidance on and deliver successful implementation of the to-be processes in partnership with other stakeholders.Capture business and user requirements (as user stories for agile delivery).Ensures requirements are understood, developed, tested, and delivered to specification.Support ServiceNow training and testing activities.Work with stakeholders to support ServiceNow adoption.Experience and understanding of Business Rules, Client Scripts, Workflows, Form Design and UI Actions.Experience with ServiceNow ITSM, Service Portal, Service Catalogue, CMDB and Reporting.Excellent understanding of the overall ServiceNow platform Qualifications, Expertise And Attributes Significant experience with ServiceNow ITSMSignificant experience in business analysis, process design, or product management.Advanced presentation skills, including the creation and delivery of professional product demonstrations.Ability to confidently facilitate stakeholder workshops, clearly communicate process recommendations, and manage stakeholder engagement (in person or virtually).Self-motivated, disciplined professional with a record of accomplishment in managing multiple complex tasks.Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and drive process improvements and decisions.Proven experience leading the analysis and documentation of as-is processes and definition and deployment of to-be processes and solutions.Strong communication skills (both written and verbal); technical writing experience.Familiarity with the ServiceNow platform, including development of customisations beyond out-of-box.Demonstrated ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons and risks) around key technical decisions during project delivery.Knowledge of and experience in Agile methodologies, including creation of well written user stories.Knowledge of and experience in business and systems analysis techniques: Business Process Modelling (BPM), Use Case Modelling, Functional and Non-functional Requirements Analysis, or Gap Analysis.Strong interpersonal skills, customer-centric attitudeExperience in developing or delivering user training preferred Working For Pacific Life Re Every person in our global team is valued for the unique qualities they bring to our business and we seek to build their expertise and support their individual ambitions at every step.
