The purpose of the Asset Health COE within the Enterprise Service management domain at ANZ, will be to lead the journey enabling the business to succeed on their service-led transformation through leveraging a stable and purposeful IT Asset Health management foundation.
IT Asset Health (ITAH) CoE leads the Technology Asset Management (TAM) function for our Bank. Assets in scope include Business Applications, Hardware, Software, Cloud, SaaS and End User Developed Tools. The CoE has a focus on delivering and governing the TAM policy, standard, controls, data uplift and tooling (ServiceNow APM, SAM Pro, HAM Pro, Configuration Management Database CMDB, Discovery of Assets, SSL Certificates).
The focus will be on delivering a centralised IT Asset Health capability, ensuring a consistent, reliable and quality data foundation to platform tenants and customers inclusive of:
Asset and Configuration Management: Ensuring our assets and the configuration of IT services are well managed (including definitions, health indicators, ensuring compliance of associated process)Hardware and Software Asset Management: Ensure our Hardware and Software assets are fit for purpose throughout their asset lifecycle including software entitlementsApplication Portfolio Management: Enables to track, manage and analyze Business Applications by ensuring rationalizing applications and reduce risks throughout their Asset Lifecyle Management (ALM)
What will your day look like
The Senior Asset Management Analyst is there to support the IT Asset management discipline, in providing governance, process, tooling and controls to support the lifecycle of all IT assets. The IT Asset management discipline ensures the organization’s IT Assets are in a fit and healthy state for the services that depend on them, including helping the organization maximize value, control costs, manage risks, support asset lifecycle decision making and meet regulatory and contractual requirements in relation to their owning assets.
You will be accountable for: Contributing to the processes that support IT Asset Management discipline across Business applications, software and hardware related assetsSupporting the systems, reporting tools and processes that provide global IT Asset Management capabilities.Collaborates with Product Owners and Engineers to translate business requirements into workable technology outcomes for the Squad.Definition and management of Asset related data metrics & reporting for internal and external stakeholdersAssist in running Asset related governance forums.Ensure the integrity and accuracy of IT asset data.Maintains Hardware and Software asset data integrity and ensure compliance with asset governance standardsExecuting the process controls, ensuring Non-Compliance is addressed or escalated accordinglyCreate, maintain and ensure sufficient documentation in place for processes, procedures and day-to-day BAU activities.Supports continuous improvement of ITAM operations best practicesCollaborating with ITIL practices ensuring mutual benefits are leveragedSupporting Asset Management reviews/auditsTracking compliance to policies and process and resolving/escalating any compliance issuesEnsure regular housekeeping of Hardware and Software Asset Management dataCollaborates with internal support teams to troubleshoot and resolve the incidentsPerforms other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management.

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following
Minimum 14+ years of overall experience.Experience with operating asset management processes and systems to support an enterprise level organisation structure (preferably within ServiceNow)Experience in IT Service Management, IT Asset Management and Configuration Management processes and practices, including an appreciation of ITIL 4Experience in one or more Analyst roles previously including Process/System/Business/Data Analyst/Operations Analyst.Demonstrates in depth customer insights and acts as an advocate, enhancing the customer experience.Extensive knowledge of the technical systems that support the business.Excellent analytical, strategic and conceptual thinking skillsAbility to solve complex problems using a range of techniques.Partnering with Experience Designer to extract in depth customer insights when defining requirements.Awareness and interest of business analysis industry trendsDeep domain and system knowledge to turn customer needs into business requirements and workable technology outcomesExperience in translating requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.Ability to define and articulate business and customer needs and drivers to inform decision making, asses and design solution outcomes and identify capability gaps.Strong communication and presentation skillsServiceNow FoundationsITAM hardware asset managementITAM software asset managementApplication portfolio managementCertified software/hardware assessment management professionalKnowledge on Jira and Confluence.Has strong skills with MS-Excel especially with extracting data from dashboards and then transforming it into reporting views in excel.
