Hands-On; Strong Communication and stakeholder management skills;
Basic Programming Skills and Concepts: Understanding of Programming Fundamentals and JavaScript: Data types, Control structures, Functions and modules. Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts (classes, objects, inheritance, polymorphism). Syntax and semantics. DOM manipulation and events. Asynchronous programming (callbacks, promises, async/await). Error handling and debugging. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and XML. Web Development/Front-End Skills: Understanding of Web Development Concepts: Responsive web design (RWD). Single-page applications (SPAs) & client-side rendering. Web performance optimization (WPO) and accessibility. Understanding of Front-End Frameworks and Libraries: React, Angular, or Vue.js. Bootstrap or other CSS frameworks. ServiceNow Specific Skills: In-Depth Knowledge of ServiceNow Development: ServiceNow architecture and data model. Table and field structures. Business rules, workflows, and approvals. Scripting (JavaScript, Groovy, etc.). Integration with external systems (REST, SOAP, etc.). Experience with ServiceNow Development Tools: Studio (application development, scripting, and debugging). Update Sets (managing and deploying changes). ServiceNow APIs (REST, SOAP, etc.). Expertise with at Least 3 ServiceNow Modules and Applications like ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, CSM, FSM, HRSD, SPM. Solution Architect Specific Skills: Architectural Leadership: Lead the design and implementation of complex ServiceNow solutions, including custom applications and integrations. Develop architectural blueprints, roadmaps, and solution designs to meet business requirements. Technical Strategy: Align ServiceNow solutions with organizational goals and strategic initiatives. Identify emerging trends in ServiceNow and related technologies to drive innovation. Process Optimization: Design and implement process improvements and best practices to optimize the use of ServiceNow. Drive standardization and consistency across ServiceNow implementations. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business leaders, IT teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams and ensure alignment with architectural standards. Governance and Compliance: Ensure solutions comply with organizational policies, standards, and regulations. Establish governance frameworks for managing ServiceNow development and deployment. Database Skills: Understanding of Database Concepts. Proficiency in Database Management Systems. Experience with Database Design and Development. Information Architecture Skills: Understanding of Information Architecture Principles: Taxonomy and ontology. Content modeling and metadata. User experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design. Experience with Information Architecture Tools and Techniques: Creating and managing taxonomies and ontologies. Designing and implementing content models and metadata schemas. Developing and maintaining information architecture documentation and standards. Familiarity with Information Architecture Frameworks and Methodologies: Zachman Framework. TOGAF. Information Architecture Institute (IAI) standards. Additional Technical Requirements: Experience with Agile Development Methodologies: Scrum or Kanban. Familiarity with Version Control Systems: Git. Knowledge of Cloud-Based Technologies: AWS or Azure. Understanding of DevOps Practices: Continuous integration and continuous deployment. Experience with IT Service Management Frameworks: ITIL. Familiarity with Security Best Practices and Compliance Regulations. Certification in ServiceNow Development or Administration. Nice to Have: Experience with Other Programming Languages like Java or Python. Knowledge of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Concepts. Familiarity with Containerization and Orchestration. Soft Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
