ServiceNow Platform Engineer

We are looking for an ServiceNow Platform Engineer to join one of our infrastructure teams that is responsible for implementation and support of ServiceNow solution in Commerzbank, including CMDB, Discovery, IT Operations Management, IT Service Management, IT Asset Management and SecOps.
You will be responsible for:
Lead the implementation and enhancement of ServiceNow processes, ensuring alignment with business goals and IT strategy.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into effective ServiceNow solutions.Oversee the configuration and administration of the ServiceNow platform, with a focus on CMDB (Configuration Management Database), API integrations, BYOK (Bring Your Own Key).Manage and optimize standardized, automated, out-of-the-box ServiceNow workflows related to demand, ensuring efficient and streamlined processes.Support the planning and execution of ServiceNow platform upgrades, patches, and releases.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ServiceNow with various business systems and applications.Ensure the accuracy and completeness of CMDB data, implementing strategies for data quality improvement.Create and maintain technical documentation.
We prefer candidates with:
Extensive experience as a ServiceNow specialist, with a focus on automation, workflows and platform administration.In-depth knowledge of CMDB, API integrations, BYOK, and SaaS within the ServiceNow ecosystem.Excellent understanding of ITIL processes and ITSM best practices.Experience in ServiceNow architectural setup, administration and governance.Experience with ServiceNow upgrades, patches, and release management.Ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into efficient ServiceNow workflows.Exceptional problem-solving, effective communication and interpersonal skills.Experience in the Citizen development.JavaScript experience in reading and writing code would be seen as an advantage.Relevant certifications such as Certified Implementation Specialist in IT Service Management (CIS-ITSM) and Certified Implementation Specialist in ServiceNow Platform (CIS-Platform) are a plus.Familiarity with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence).Ability to work in agile environment.English written and spoken, any German skills would be seen as an advantage.
