As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you'll play a key role in leading the design and deployment of ServiceNow solutions. This position involves configuring, customizing, and implementing ServiceNow applications to meet specific business needs. Your technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to excellence will be crucial to the success of our projects and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Solution Discovery & Design: Collaborate with Solutions Architects and Business Analysts to understand and document business outcomes and requirements. Lead the design of effective ServiceNow solutions that meet these needs. Technical Implementation: Work with cross-functional teams to implement ServiceNow solutions that adhere to industry best practices. Develop and maintain advanced scripts, business rules, and client scripts. Data Migration: Support data migration from legacy systems to ServiceNow, ensuring data accuracy and consistency. Utilize out-of-the-box data schemas before designing custom tables and fields. Integration Management: Assist in the design and integration of ServiceNow with other systems to create seamless end-to-end processes. System Optimization: Work with solutions architects to analyze platform performance and implement performance and security improvements. Technical Documentation: Ensure comprehensive documentation of configurations, customizations, data schemas, and other technical decisions. Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing to validate functionality, data integrity, and user experience. Address issues and make necessary adjustments. User Training: Support end-user training to ensure smooth adoption of the implemented solution. Change Management: Assist with change management efforts by supporting developers, architects, and users during transitions. Incident and Problem Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ServiceNow implementations. Provide timely resolution to incidents and problems. Best Practices: Contribute to the development of best practices and standards. Ensure compliance with security and implementation best practices. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest ServiceNow features and best practices. Continue certification and training to enhance skills and expertise. Mentorship: Provide technical guidance to junior developers. Share knowledge and solutions with the team. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with project managers, implementation specialists, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project coordination and communication. Corporate Growth: Support the development of client roadmaps and solution demonstrations. Participate in proposals for new opportunities, including presentations and technical proposals. Required Experiences And Certifications 5+ years of experience implementing ServiceNow solutions. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator. US Citizenship (required for federal contract). Ability to obtain a DHS Public Trust clearance. Must reside and work within the U.S. Valuable Skills Active DHS Public Trust. Additional ServiceNow Certifications, Such As Certified Application Developer Certified Implementation Specialist in various fields (e.g., Application Portfolio Management, IT Service Management, Customer Service Management). Extensive hands-on experience configuring or building multiple ServiceNow applications. In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities and best practices. Familiarity with ITIL processes and IT Service Management (ITSM) principles. Strong technical skills, including scripting languages like JavaScript and GlideScript. Expertise in designing and implementing complex workflows and integrations. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
