Direct Client Requirement Position: ServiceNow CMDB Architect Location Remote Contract About the Role: We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow CMDB Architect to join our team and lead the configuration and implementation of the ServiceNow CMDB (Configuration Management Database) and Discovery solutions for our telecommunications client. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of CMDB architecture, ServiceNow Discovery, and experience in the telecommunications industry. Key Responsibilities: CMDB Architecture Design: Design and architect the ServiceNow CMDB solutions tailored for the telecommunications industry. Develop and maintain the overall CMDB architecture, ensuring it aligns with industry best practices and client requirements. Define and implement data models, CI classes, and relationships. Discovery Implementation: Lead the deployment and configuration of ServiceNow Discovery to ensure accurate and automated population of the CMDB. Develop and maintain Discovery schedules, probes, and sensors to meet client-specific requirements. Integrate Discovery with other ServiceNow modules and external systems as needed. Configuration and Customization: Configure and customize the ServiceNow platform, including forms, workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and ACLs. Implement custom scripts and automation to enhance CMDB and Discovery functionality. Data Management and Governance: Develop and enforce CMDB data governance policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and accuracy. Perform regular data quality audits and remediation. Establish processes for CI lifecycle management, including onboarding, maintenance, and retirement. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand their requirements, pain points, and business processes. Conduct workshops, training sessions, and presentations to educate and align stakeholders on CMDB and Discovery practices. Provide ongoing support and guidance to client teams. Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of the CMDB architecture, Discovery configuration, and related processes. Develop reports and dashboards to provide insights into CMDB health, data quality, and discovery status. Prepare regular status updates and project reports for clients and internal teams. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a ServiceNow CMDB Architect, with a focus on Discovery. In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB and Discovery modules, including MID Server management. Strong understanding of telecommunications infrastructure, network components, and services. Proficient in scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, and PowerShell. Experience with ITIL/ITSM processes and frameworks. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - Discovery ServiceNow Certified System Administrator Experience with other ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITOM, ITSM, SecOps) Familiarity with telecommunications-specific technologies and standards.

Deep knowledge of ServiceNow solutions across all modules (in particular ITSM, HRSD, SPM, portal, analytics and latest advancements.b. Understanding of ITIL processes.c. Experience in architecting and deploying large-scale ServiceNow implementations.d. Strong analytical skills to identify problems and recommend business-oriented solutionse. Strong communication skills to be able to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audience to understand business value of solutions.
