Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (ServiceNow - IRM/SecOps/BCM)Location: India (Remote)Experience: 6+ yearsEmployment Type: Contract Job Description:We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in ServiceNow (IRM/SecOps/BCM) to join our India team. This role supports a large global client and offers the opportunity to work on the largest ServiceNow implementation globally. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead, coach, and mentor a team of Software Engineers responsible for developing project professional services for our customers. You will implement and customize solutions based on functional and technical requirements, adhering to best practices and internal code standards, particularly on large-scale and complex professional services projects. Responsibilities:Analyze, design, program, debug, and modify software enhancements.Write code, complete programming tasks, and conduct testing and debugging using current programming languages and techniques.Contribute to writing test scripts and perform unit testing.Facilitate and mentor across multiple projects and teams.Provide technical expertise in code writing and reviews.Collaborate with delivery teams and other engineers to understand, estimate, prioritize, and implement development and project requirements.Apply modern technology and innovation to enhance platform functionality.Deliver exceptional customer experiences by administering, developing, and supporting ServiceNow solutions during implementation.Perform additional duties as assigned. Requirements:Strong knowledge of software engineering principles for cloud-based platforms.Solid understanding of ServiceNow functionalities, particularly IRM, SecOps, and BCM.Proficiency in JavaScript and experience with glide record usage, XML, and structured programming concepts.Excellent understanding of core object-oriented programming with hands-on experience in developing and customizing the ServiceNow Platform.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Working knowledge of relational databases.Ability to assess and mitigate risks.Strong leadership capabilities.Effective facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills with the ability to motivate a team.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify complex situations.Strong relationship management skills across all organizational levels.Ability to deliver high customer satisfaction.Comfortable working in a matrixed organization and adaptable to ambiguity and change. Education:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent demonstrated work experience. Certifications & Knowledge:ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) Additional Information:The candidate must be committed to continuous learning within the ServiceNow platform and beyond, including achieving ServiceNow competency certifications and module accreditations.
