The Architect will be responsible for overall architectural design and delivery assurance. GlideFast's Architects have broad technical and process knowledge across a wide portfolio of GlideFast's services and products. They work closely with the Business Process Consultant to create Stories by crafting the technical approach for each. The Architect will be crucial in providing administration, application development, maintenance, and technical support by using good practice web programming techniques to configure robust solutions to the client utilizing the ServiceNow platform.
ResponsibilitiesCreate expert level JavaScript and ServiceNow JavaScript API'sWrite/create custom business rules, client scripts, script includes, UI policies, ACL’s, data policies, UI scriptsLead and participate in development effort of solutions in three (3) or more of the following specializations:-ServiceNow Mainline Application(s) (ITSM, ITBM, CSM, HR, ITOM, ect)-Service Portal (HTML, CSS, AngularJS, SASS, Bootstrap)-Custom Application Development (Scoped Applications)-3rd Party Integrations Development (REST, SOAP, MID Servers, etc)Lead customer workshops and assist with demos as well as gathering technical and functional requirements.Create overall technical architecture, including design documentation and process flows, for ServiceNow implementations that align with customer business requirementsReview developers’ code and provide recommendations/best practices to ensure successPartner with Business Process Consultants and attend requirements review and validation sessions as requiredParticipate in scrum ceremoniesDeliver measurable, positive results within the client and team’s timeline resulting in positive feedback from clients
Qualifications:Expertise designing and implementing ServiceNow CSM 3+ years delivering/architecting technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform4+ years in a consulting role, delivering software implementations preferableExpertise with JavaScript and ServiceNow JavaScript API'sWorking proficiency in the following skills are encouraged:Web service proficiency (REST, SOAP) as well as XML and JSON knowledgePractical knowledge or experience with Operating Systems (Linux, Windows)Thorough knowledge of networking concepts such as IP Addressing, Firewalls, portsKnowledge of relational databases (MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle)Experience in multiple application architectures and supporting technologiesExperience with scripting languages such as PERL, JavaScript, Python, and ShellStrong consultative skills for software service delivery to lead customers in improving their processes and organizational modelsStrong knowledge in ITIL foundation is requiredBe a great leader and team player with a record of accomplishment in managing multiple complex tasksThorough working knowledge in IT Operations Management or IT Service Management is critical

The starting pay range for this role is $140,000 - $190,000 CAD. Actual compensation willdepend on a number of factors, including actual work location, relevant experience (internalor external), technical skills, and other qualifications.
