Job Description:
As a ServiceNow Developer focused on System Optimization, you will play a crucial role in enhancing overall operational efficiency by optimizing IT service management and operations on the ServiceNow platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, design and implement solutions, and ensure that ServiceNow processes are streamlined and effective.
Key Responsibilities:
System Optimization: Identify and implement optimization opportunities within the ServiceNow platform to enhance IT service management and operations.Technical Development: Design, develop, and configure ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows to meet business requirements and improve system performance.Process Improvement: Analyze existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and develop strategies to streamline and automate workflows.Configuration Management: Perform software configuration and customization, adhering to best practices and industry standards.Technical Advisory: Provide expert advice on the technical scope and implementation approach for system optimization projects.Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing of developed solutions to ensure quality, functionality, and performance.Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and resolve issues related to system optimization, ensuring smooth operation in production environments.Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for developed solutions, including design documents, test plans, and user guides.
Qualifications:
Experience: Proven experience in developing and implementing ServiceNow solutions, with a focus on system optimization and IT service management.Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities, including ITSM, ITOM, and workflow automation.Optimization Expertise: Experience with identifying and implementing optimization opportunities within IT service management and operations.Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders.Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.ServiceNow Certifications: Relevant ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified Implementation Specialist) are highly desirable.
Desired Skills & Experience:
ITIL Framework: Knowledge of ITIL best practices and experience implementing ITIL processes within ServiceNow.Project Management: Experience managing projects and delivering solutions on time and within budget.Client Management: Experience managing client relationships, conducting workshops, and delivering business requirements with ServiceNow functionality.Agile Methodology: Experience working in Agile development environments, driving service excellence through iterative development and continuous improvement.
