As a Developer within the IT Service Management (ITSM) portfolio, you will be responsible for developing enhancements to the ServiceNow platform.
What You'll Do
As a ServiceNow Developer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our client's ServiceNow platform. Working within an Agile squad structure, you will collaborate closely with various stakeholders including Product Owners, Business Analysts, Tech Leads, Software Engineers and other Developers. Your responsibilities will include refining backlog stories, providing technical input on ServiceNow configuration, documenting detailed designs and estimations, and using your technical skills to develop solutions. You will also provide peer support and guidance, contributing significantly to the efficient operation of the squad and overall release train.
Work within the SAFE framework as part of a Release TrainCollaborate with BA’s, Scrum masters and tech leads to refine backlog storiesProvide technical input regarding ServiceNow configuration, best practice and platform featuresDocument detailed designs and estimationsUse your technical skills to develop solutions and provide peer support and guidanceContribute to the efficient operation of the squad and overall release train
What You Bring
The ideal candidate for this ServiceNow Developer role brings a wealth of knowledge in ITSM processes and ITIL with a preference for those holding an ITIL v4 certification. You should possess strong expertise in ServiceNow configuration, customisation, and administration along with relevant certifications such as ServiceNow CSA and CAD. Your experience should include working with Client Scripts, Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, ACLs including advanced scripting of each. Additionally, you should have extensive functional knowledge of ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Report/ Performance Analytics and Service Catalog/Portal. A solid understanding of HTTP, REST, API design best practices is also required.
