Job Description: The Service Management Developer (ServiceNow) will be responsible for building, maintaining, and administering ServiceNow modules, ensuring they are mobile-friendly, scalable, and high-performing.The role involves working in an Agile/Scrum environment and collaborating closely with a dedicated Service Management/ServiceNow team.Design, develop, and implement new ServiceNow applications and enhancements.Customize ServiceNow applications and facilitate rollout of new applications and modules.Design and configure workflows, business rules, UI actions, UI policies, and client scripts.Implement automated notifications, reports, and dashboards.Knowledge and experience dealing with asset management, discovery, scoped applications, integrations, and other ServiceNow areas such as SPMDevelop and implement complex workflows and automate business processes.Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems and applications using REST, and SOAP APIs.Develop and maintain integration interfaces between ServiceNow and other systems.Implement patches, upgrades, and new releases of the ServiceNow platform.Provide ongoing support and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform.Participate in ServiceNow configuration projects/work efforts, and coordinate activities with across functional team.Perform code reviews to ensure best practices and standards are followed.Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and coordinate testing procedures.Create and maintain detailed technical documentation.Ensure timely updates and proactive communication with management and customers when working with external stakeholders to the ServiceNow team.Participate in Scrum meetings and follow Agile development processes.Propose and implement enhancements to the ServiceNow platform to improve efficiency and effectiveness.5+ years working on the ServiceNow platform.5+ years of experience with Managed Service providers.3+ years of experience in front-end web development and design.Experience with Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Angular JS, Web Services).Experience implementing systems using Agile/Scrum methodology.Proficiency in ServiceNow platform (ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, etc.)Scripting (JavaScript, Glide API, HTML, CSS)Knowledge of web technologies (AJAX, XML, JSON)Integration experience (REST, SOAP APIs)UI/UX design within ServiceNowWorkflow design and implementationStrong organizational and communication skills.Ability to balance multiple projects and reassess priorities in a fast-paced environment.Solid understanding of software development processes, information architecture, and software usability.Proven track record of delivering enterprise mobile-friendly ServiceNow modules.Experience with Agile Project Management.Familiarity with Scrum Framework and Agile Software Deployment.Ability to communicate effectively with management, peers, and coworkers.Passion for enhancing customer experience and operational excellence.Availability for after-hours support and on-call rotation.
