Software Methods is seeking a ServiceNow Developer for a 12+ month contract opportunity at our client in Center City Philadelphia, PA. This is a hybrid opportunity. The ServiceNow Developer will play a key role in maintaining and maturing the EOTSS service catalogThe candidate will be responsible for core system configuration as well as day-to-day user requests and incidentsThe ServiceNow Developer will also be responsible for technical design, ServiceNow code and architecture, and work with key business units to build solutions and processes, supporting maintenance, continual service improvement, and new capabilities on the ServiceNow platformThe Incumbent must have extensive knowledge and experience with ServiceNowThe incumbent must have experience configuring core ServiceNow modules including Service Catalog, Asset, SAMP, IRM, Discovery, and Service MappingThe incumbent must have strong written and verbal communication skillsServiceNow System Admin Certification required. Responsibilities: Optimize existing and develop new service catalog offerings and associated flows with a focus on continual improvement and automationLeverage Flow Designer to further mature the service catalog and migrate away from workflowsProvide technical guidance on existing workflows for streamlining and improved efficienciesIdentify inefficiencies to ultimately implement areas of automationParticipate in the upgrade cycle of ServiceNow, including testing via the use of the Automated Test FrameworkSupport the design of custom catalog items, working with business partners and the Service Catalog manager and Product Manager for implementationMaintain an ongoing knowledge of the ServiceNow product, version upgrades, enhancements, and new featuresAssist with developing Knowledge base articles that proactively address user’s issuesIntegrate tools such as SCCM, Meraki, and CrowdStrike into ServiceNow to manage Assets. Required:Minimum 3 years of direct experience as a ServiceNow Admin or application ownerExperience configuring core ServiceNow modules including Service Catalog, Asset, SAMP, IRM, Discovery, and Service MappingKnowledge of the ServiceNow app engine and the process for developing and supporting custom applicationsHands on experience in Service Catalog/Service Portal modulesServiceNow System Admin CertificationAbility to draft and document test plans for both a technical and business user audienceAbility to be flexible, adaptable and learn new concepts quickly; ability to anticipate and drive changeAbility to work effectively in a team environment with aggressive deadlines and multiple priorities as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while delivering resultsExcellent demonstrable written and verbal communications skillDemonstrates a high degree of customer service and teamworkGood organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skillsDemonstrated understanding of ITIL processes, operations, and proceduresOverarching understanding of ServiceNow Enterprise product suite. Preferred:Experience with Advanced scripting, Performance Analytics, Reporting and other use case areasExperience with Microsoft suite of office products – Excel, Word, and TeamsExperience with Flow designer, Workspaces and UI DesignerServiceNow Certified Implementation SpecialistServiceNow Certified Application DeveloperITIL Certification.
