Role DescriptionThis is a contract role for a ServiceNow Developer at ATNA Technologies. As a ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions to meet business needs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, customize ServiceNow applications, and integrate ServiceNow with other systems. This is a hybrid role, with the option to work remotely and located in Manassas, VA.
Key ResponsibilitiesØ Conduct requirements analysis for development of new features, components and enhancements to existing components.Ø Conduct or participate in design discussions, design/code walkthrough meetings Ø Design, develop, review, test, deploy and support out of the box and custom solutions in the platform Ø Ensure compliance to Client security best practices and coding standards Ø Ensure compliance to Client reference architecture and requirement/design artefacts Ø Ensure compliance to Client development and release methodologies (CM/CI/CD) Ø Navigate and adapt to various environments providing support for and working closely with customers Ø Contribute to production work including deployments and incident and problem management Ø Provide technical guidance to customers and act as mentor to less senior team members.Ø May give presentations to management and customers. What It Takes To Succeed in this position Ø Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer with at least 5years software development experience and can demonstrate strong development skills in the areas of ITSM/ITAM/ITOM.Ø Experience in setting up and managing both out of the box and custom applications.Ø Proven experience of ServiceNow system administration Ø Ability to demonstrate experience with determining the best possible solution Ø Must be comfortable working independently with minimal oversight as well as comfortable working in a team setting swarming and peer programming Ø Excellent problem solving and analytics skills, with proven experience of requirements gathering and translating requirements into technical deliveries.Ø Demonstrate excellent communication skills and be confident presenting ideas and designs to different stakeholder levels. Qualifications Required Technical Skills and Knowledge:Ø ServiceNow System Administrator and Application Developer Certification Ø ServiceNow HAM or SAM Implementation Specialist Certification and/or 5+ years of ServiceNow ITAM Development and Administration experience Ø 2+ years of CSDM/CMDB development and management Ø 2+ years of discovery with custom patterns and system administration Ø 1+ years of integrations (VMWare, SCCM, SAP) o 2+ years of experience with Asset Management development Ø Experience with creating and maintaining ServiceNow objects like tables, business rules, client scripts, UI actions, UI policies, script includes workflows etc.Ø Experience with User Management including groups, users, roles, ACLs, etc.Ø Preferred Technical Skills and Knowledge:Ø JavaScript and Web/Service Portal development Ø ServiceNow DevOps integrations with CI/CD tool sets Ø Service Mapping Required Soft Skills:Ø Quality-oriented: you know that delivering production-ready software takes more than committing code.Ø Agile mind-set: You like to learn and continuously improve the way we work Ø Appetite for the business: you like technology and you love to use it to create solutions to help your customers.Ø Team-oriented: you take pride from team achievements and are ready to support and be supported by your team-mates.Ø Curious, eager to learn and to educate others.Ø Strong communication skills (both written and oral)Ø Fluent in English (spoken and written) Education:Ø University degree in computer science or related field.
