ServiceNow Administrator/Developer Position at NCDIT
Overview
Join our dynamic team at NCDIT as a ServiceNow Administrator/Developer to support the state's Customer Service Management system. You will collaborate with a group of talented ServiceNow developers in a matrix reporting environment. This role reports to the ServiceNow platform owner and involves managing multiple work streams simultaneously.
Responsibilities
Administer and maintain the ServiceNow platform for the Customer Service Management application Enhance and upgrade the platform as needed, following agency processes and FedRamp compliance standards Handle enhancement requests and development for the CSM application Collaborate with developers on platform processes Gather and translate business requirements into technical documentation Monitor application performance and analyze code Implement advancements and changes on the ServiceNow platform for business solutions Establish user journeys and create user stories to support CSM design and configuration Support iterative configuration of the CSM application and engage stakeholders in joint design sessions Research and propose enhancements to existing engagements Develop solutions for bugs and issues in ServiceNow production for CSM Enhance system workflows and scripts in ServiceNow to align with evolving business practices Execute data mapping and bulk data imports/updates when necessary
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field 5 years of experience in CSM technology, specifically in ServiceNow processes and administration Experience designing web-based end user self-service portals Proficiency in web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, XML, and Web Services Familiarity with ServiceNow forms, fields, views, lists, UI policy and actions, and client/server scripts Experience integrating ServiceNow with other tools and data sources
Preferred Qualifications
Background in governmental sector operations Experience implementing ServiceNow CSM application and processes Demonstrated continuous improvement initiatives for processes and services Strong knowledge of CSM processes Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to obtain a security clearance with FedRamp administration standards
