Job Overview
Builds and maintains the tooling and infrastructure used to automate the release, deployment, and upgrade processes. Designs software needs for business; provides technical leadership on complex solutions for software development, testing and validation processes. Combines software development and IT operations practices which shorten the systems delivery life cycle and provide a continuous delivery platform. Dev-Ops area complements the efficiencies of Agile software development methods.
Roles & Responsibilities
Developing, Installing, and Troubleshooting ServiceNow Applications:
You create custom applications or modify existing ones to meet the organization’s requirements. Write code, configure workflows, and integrate various modules within the platform.
Troubleshooting involves identifying and fixing issues in ServiceNow applications, ensuring they function correctly.
Integration with Other Programs:
You ensure seamless data flow between ServiceNow and external systems.
Documentation, and Support:
You create documentation for your solutions, explaining how they work, how to use them, and any customizations made.
Staying Updated on Latest Developments:
You continuously learn about the latest advancements in ServiceNow-specific features and best practices. Stay informed about new releases, updates, and enhancements to the ServiceNow platform.
Additionally, you offer ongoing support to users, addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring smooth operations.
Competencies And Experience Required/Desired
10 years of IT experience with 3-5 years of experience as a key technical resource executing on design and development on the ServiceNow Platform.Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science or related discipline. Proficient written and verbal communications skills in English (CEFR C1). Additional language(s) are welcome.In-depth understanding of and experience working with Enterprise Service Management processes In-depth knowledge of UI design and strong UI programming skills along with Employee Service Center or Service Portal configuration and Reporting and AnalyticHands-on experience in implementing, configuring, and customizing Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JAVA Script, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, etc.)Proficient in integration of disparate systems using REST APIs along with scripted Webservices.Strong knowledge on Single Sign On, LDAP, Mid Server and automations using Integration Hub Ability to multi-task across project/initiatives and deliver according to time commitments.
