ServiceNow SPM/Proven Optics Developer

A1FED has an immediate opening for a mid-level ServiceNow developer with experience in SPM who can learn the 3rd party Proven Optics component. Work from home supporting a federal agency with a team based primarily on the Atlantic Coast. Experience and Qualifications

• 5 years of experience implementing IT solutions, including ServiceNow solutions
• 3 years of experience delivering cloud solutions for large organizations
• Experience with ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM)
• Experience with Proven Optics preferred
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
• Strong working knowledge of large, complex IT environments
• ServiceNow mainline certification preferred, ideally Certified Application Developer (CAD)
• U.S. Citizen or permanent resident with a Permanent Resident Card
• Must reside in United States (U.S.). Work must be performed in the United States (U.S.)
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust security clearance by submitting paperwork rapidly on request and submitting information for a commercial background check prior to hire

Responsibilities

• Responsible for configuration of the ServiceNow/Proven Optics to deliver modernized portfolio management solution.
• Assist with turning requirements into user stories with clear definition of done.
• Update documentation in alignment with any changes made to software in each sprint.
• Ensure solution is configured to the proper security standard, as well as configured for performance, scalability, upgradability, and re-usability.
• Ensure that each software delivery sprint includes deployable, production-ready software, unit tests, user stories, acceptance criteria, and sprint retrospectives.
• Troubleshoot/resolve issues during configuration, testing, and release.
