Our work depends on a Logistics Operations Manager joining our team to support the Army Global Unified Network (AGUN) program in Falls Church, VA.
This is an IT Service Management contract in support of GENM-O’s mission to enable information dominance from the tactical edge to the home station for the Army, DoD, National Command Authority, and international partners by acquiring, implementing, and sustaining strategic satellite and terrestrial communication systems, and by leveraging technologies to meet current and future requirements. AGUN is to design, procure, maintain, deploy, and transition a Global SDN solution in accordance with applicable Army policies and regulations. The AGUN-INC1 TO will provide a unified approach to ensure standardized deployments and configurations at multiple locations throughout the globe.
To be successful in this position you need to be collaborative and willing to work within a team. While you will need to be a self-starter completing tasks on your own, working together is critical in this role. You will be interfacing with the client and senior staff.
Therefore, you should be articulate in your communications because your opinion matters. You will need to explain technical intricacies in a way that is easily understood. Provides logistic support to track, account for, ship, and manage IT equipment.
Provides assistance and support in establishing and maintaining an IT Service Management environment that aligns with the customer’s framework. Supports IT service delivery in accordance with the respective IT service performance metrics. Provides configuration management support in accordance with compliance and policies and procedures, using configuration management systems to record, track, monitor, and update component configurations and configuration items and changes and account for assets.
Maintain relationships with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders. Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
