*ServiceNow Developer, Junior (United States Remote)*
Veterans Engineering is seeking a ServiceNow developer, to harness the latest technologies by developing low-code platforms and creating user-friendly solutions for your clients. We’re looking for a developer like you to support the management of low-code development platforms from vision to production-ready, solving our clients’ most complex challenges.
This role is more than just coding. We need a ServiceNow developer who will use their passion to learn new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You'll use the Agile life cycle to work with the development team on developing and configuring ServiceNow applications and solutions to implement system stakeholder requirements. You’ll analyze the needs and the environment to help make sure the solution the team develops considers the architecture and operating environment, including future functionality and enhancements. You’ll be a trusted advisor to your clients as you help translate their IT needs and future goals into a plan by crafting architectural patterns, design standards, and implementation best practices.
*You Have:*
· 2+ years of experience with developing, designing, and implementing ServiceNow systems, solutions, and tools
· Experience with developing custom service portals and creating and implementing complex pages, custom widgets, and UI
· Experience working in large enterprise environments, including government spaces
· Experience with Glide scripting, business rules, client scripts, and data imports
· Experience with leading development teams and providing guidance and mentorship for staff members while sharing experiences
· Ability to obtain a security clearance
· ServiceNow Certifications
· Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of experience.
*Nice If You Have:*
· Experience with Agile methodology
· Experience with Java, Python, JavaScript, SQL, ServiceNow, SalesForce, Pega, Appian, PowerApps, or OpenText
· Ability to acquire client requirements and resolve workflow problems through automation optimization
· Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance
*Clearance:*
· Public Trust clearance is required.
· Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $78,000.00 per year
