*Exciting REMOTE ServiceNow SME Opportunity!* *QUALIFIERS* *This role will be performed 80% remote with 20% onsite at Fort Belvoir. It will require periodic TDY within other COCOMs for user engagement.* *Clearance: Secret* *Position Overview* The *ServiceNow SME* is responsible for working to develop, design and own technical solutions on the ServiceNow Army Instance. The Service Now SME will provide administration, application development, maintenance, and technical support by using good practice web programming techniques to configure robust solutions to the client utilizing the ServiceNow platform. They will need to leverage the App Engine and Workflow automation features of ServiceNow to create dashboards, workbenches, visualizations, and automated workflow processes. The ServiceNow SME will be responsible for establishing the primary operational workbench for the end users of the CHMR ecosystem. *DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* * Successfully plan, execute, monitor, control, and close all technical tasks related to configuration and implementation of all aspects of the ServiceNow platform. * Provide software coding and customization including, but not limited to: screen tailoring, workflow administration, report setup, data imports, integration, scripting, third party software integrations, and custom application development * Update and maintain a comprehensive testing plan and acceptance criteria for the ServiceNow App through multiple custom app releases * Coordinate and solve complex technical data and transformation issues. * Obtain and analyze/interpret business requirements to purpose sustainable solutions in ServiceNow. * Answer “how to” technical and application configuration questions. * Develop, maintain, and execute reports to ensure system operation meets performance targets. * Create and maintain system design and operations documentation. * Create and ensure operational connections with external data sources and the functional workflows in ServiceNow. *WORKFLOW UNDERSTANDING:* Deeply understand the operational workflow of the CHMR effort and systems, its foundational documents, and functional uses. Identify and document necessary changes and adjustments required to enable smooth automation and function using ServiceNow. *COLLABORATION:* Work closely with customers, onsite and offsite teams to prepare business user groups and units for system functionalities and features. Facilitate Solutions Design Walkthroughs and obtain solution approval. Integrate with a global customer base to ensure operational user needs and features are collected, implemented, and functional. Support and maintain an agile development approach using Jira and a unified backlog to assist stakeholders in feature prioritization and development transparency. *PROCESS IMPROVEMENT:* Observe business workflows and identify areas for improvement. Continually analyze operational usage metrics to identify optimizations and enhancements for the system. *SOFTWARE PROFICIENCY:* Should be proficient on current ServiceNow development tools and functions, to include App Integration Engine, Workflow Automation, and the developer toolset. *Requirements* * Active US Government Clearance at Secret level or higher * ServiceNow CAD Certification * Security+ Certification * BS degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience. * 5-10 years of experience working with data in DoD * Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in ServiceNow development, configuration and administration * Experience with Agile development methodologies * Experience with workflow automation on the ServiceNow Platform * Experience interfacing with executing officers and associated action staff * Experience with process engineering and development * Knowledge and experience in state and federal information security laws, including but not limited to NIST, HIPAA, DoD and all other applicable regulations. Including the implementation of PII/PHI based systems * Experience producing flow chart, swim lanes, and process flow designs for large organizations and customer bases * Experience extracting requirements and operations from stakeholders through assisted interviews and engagements * Needs to be driven and able to take independent initiative to proactively address and resolve customer concerns, while also supporting team interactions Job Type: Full-time Schedule: * Monday to Friday Education: * Bachelor's (Required) Experience: * working with Data in the DOD: 5 years (Required) * ServiceNow development, configuration & administration: 5 years (Required) * ServiceNow Workflow Automation module: 4 years (Required) * Agile Framework and methodologies: 4 years (Required) License/Certification: * ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) (Required) * Security + (Required) Security clearance: * Secret (Required) Work Location: Remote
