*Job Description:*
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM) Specialist to join our dynamic team in Washington DC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ServiceNow platform administration and configuration, particularly in the realm of IT Service Management. This role requires frequent onsite presence in Washington DC and demands a candidate with an active DOD security clearance.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* ServiceNow Platform Administration: Manage and administer the ServiceNow platform, including configuration, customization, and maintenance to support IT Service Management processes.
* ITSM Process Implementation: Design, develop, and implement IT Service Management processes within ServiceNow, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and organizational requirements.
* Incident and Problem Management: Oversee incident and problem management processes within ServiceNow, including incident identification, logging, categorization, prioritization, and resolution.
* Change Management: Implement and manage change management processes within ServiceNow, facilitating the review, approval, and implementation of changes to IT infrastructure and services.
* Configuration Management: Establish and maintain configuration management processes within ServiceNow, ensuring accurate documentation and management of IT assets and configurations.
* Integration and Automation: Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate ServiceNow with other systems and tools, leveraging automation to streamline IT Service Management processes.
* User Support and Training: Provide user support and training for ServiceNow ITSM functionalities, ensuring effective utilization of the platform by stakeholders across the organization.
* Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of ITSM processes, configurations, and integrations. Generate reports and metrics to measure the performance and effectiveness of IT Service Management processes.
*Qualifications:*
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
* Minimum of 4 years of experience in ServiceNow platform administration and configuration, with a focus on IT Service Management.
* Experience implementing and managing ITSM processes such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Configuration Management.
* Strong understanding of ITIL framework and best practices.
* Active DOD security clearance is mandatory.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* ServiceNow certification(s) preferred.
