*Job Summary*
We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow CMDB Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the management and maintenance of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within the ServiceNow platform. This role requires a strong understanding of IT service management, computer networking, and system administration to ensure accurate and up-to-date configuration items (CIs) across the organization.
*Duties*
* Administer and maintain the ServiceNow CMDB, ensuring data integrity and accuracy of configuration items.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and document relationships between CIs.
* Utilize APIs to integrate ServiceNow with other systems for seamless data flow.
* Conduct regular audits of the CMDB to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
* Develop and execute SQL queries for reporting and analysis of configuration data.
* Provide support for system administration tasks, including user access management and security configurations.
* Implement best practices for load balancing and DNS configurations within the ServiceNow environment.
* Assist in the development of automation scripts using JavaScript to enhance CMDB processes.
* Stay updated on industry trends related to Pegasystems and other relevant technologies.
*Experience*
* Proven experience in managing ServiceNow CMDB or similar configuration management systems.
* Strong knowledge of computer networking principles and practices.
* Familiarity with APIs, SQL, system administration, and load balancing techniques.
* Experience with Azure cloud services is a plus.
* Knowledge of Pegasystems is desirable but not mandatory.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
