We are actively seeking a Principal Domain Architect, ServiceNow Platform. This is a remote position and can be based anywhere is the U.S. The role may require periodic travel as necessary across the world.
Position Summary
As part of our Rimini Consult group, the Principal Domain Architect, ServiceNow Platform, will be responsible for designing and delivering customized solutions to meet the unique needs of our clients. You will work closely with clients, sales teams, and internal technical teams to understand client requirements, propose tailored solutions, and ensure successful implementation.
The role also encompasses providing thought leadership around functional strategy, including overseeing complex project implementations, Product Roadmap Analyses, reviewing and analyzing current system functionality, and have demonstrated a strong ability to analyze and provide guidance to support strategic objectives. He/she will demonstrate professional written and oral communication skills, deep analytical skills, deep functional expertise, solution orientation, strategic thinking, the ability to establish rapport at all levels within the organization, and the ability to drive consensus.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of innovative solutions on the ServiceNow platform, utilizing capabilities such as application development, AI, general AI, trust, security, and other ServiceNow productsCollaborate with pre-sales and solution engineering teams to understand client requirements and propose appropriate ServiceNow-based solutionsWork with implementation teams to ensure successful deployment of solutions according to designStay up-to-date on the latest ServiceNow platform capabilities and determine how they can be leveraged to improve existing solutions or enable new solutionsContribute to the establishment and evolution of best practices, standards, and guidelines for ServiceNow development across the organizationMentor and guide more junior architects and developers on the ServiceNow platform and solutionsPlay a leadership role in an innovation center of excellence for ServiceNow solutions across presales, solution engineering, and implementation
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree, preferably in Computer Sciences and/or Information Technology or related field (Master’s Degree preferred)
Location
This is a remote position and can be based anywhere in the US.
Desired Experience
5+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing solutions on the ServiceNow platformDeep knowledge and expertise with key ServiceNow capabilities including application development, integration, workflow, security, and data modelingExperience leading complex ServiceNow implementation projects with enterprise clientsStrong track record of successful ServiceNow deployments in a professional services environmentBackground developing innovative solutions and thought leadership around the ServiceNow platformExperience in a client-facing pre-sales or solution engineering role involving ServiceNow
Desired Skills
Expert-level ServiceNow development skills including JavaScript, web services, REST APIs, and database conceptsProficiency with industry standard web and cloud development stacks including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Node.jsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience defining and enforcing architectural standards and best practicesAbility to understand client requirements and propose creative technical solutionsStrong communication, presentation, and mentorship skills to work with teams and clientsKnowledge of ITSM and modern application development practices using agile methodologiesSelf-driven and passionate about staying on top of ServiceNow platform innovation

The general salary range for this type of role is 150k - 188k depending on skills and experience.
