Job Location: Remote (supporting PST hours) 6-month contract (with opportunity for potential extension) Pay rate: $65 - $80/hr W2 Your Responsibilities Include Provide technical expertise in ServiceNow, with a focus on Security Operations and Incident ManagementDesign and implement solutions related to ServiceNow Security Operations and Incident ManagementProvide guidance on best practices related to ServiceNow Security Operations and Incident ManagementTroubleshoot issues related to ServiceNow Security Operations and Incident ManagementWork with other teams to ensure ServiceNow Security Operations and Incident Management are integrated with other systems and processesDevelop and maintain documentation related to ServiceNow Security Operations and Incident ManagementProvide technical guidance and support to other team members as neededStay up to date with the latest ServiceNow technologies and best practicesAnalyze incoming incidents and events, both from Help Desk and security platforms, to provide objective advice and actionable next stepsWork with the security team to perform tests and uncover vulnerabilities and security control gapsAssist the security team with keeping the company's security platforms up-to-dateCreate documentation and planning for all security-related information, including, but not limited to, incident responseDevelop relevant documentation and KB articles for IT Security or for Help DeskTrain and mentor Help Desk in the use and function of IT Security tools and platformsAnalyze IT requirements and provide objective advice on the use of security controlsTest and evaluate new technology focusing on security controls and requirementsSupport the implementation of key security platforms, both on-prem and cloud environmentsParticipate in Incident Response activities, including tabletop exercises and active incidentsGather feedback from end-users and IT team members to continue to improve system security controlsAnalyze and implement efficient IT security systemsReview external threat intelligence feeds from cybersecurity agencies; send alerts and coordinate with responsible parties to patch high-risk vulnerabilities What You’ll Need To Succeed 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow, with a focus on Security Operations and Incident ManagementStrong understanding of ServiceNow Security Operations and Incident Management best practices and design principlesExperience with ServiceNow integrations and workflowsExperience with ServiceNow Security Incident Response, Vulnerability Response, and Threat IntelligenceStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team2+ years of experience in Information Security and/or Information TechnologyBasic knowledge of Cybersecurity standard frameworks, controls, technology, and solutionsUnderstanding of patch managementKnowledge of firewalls, antivirus, and IDPS conceptsAbility to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilitiesExcellent oral and written communication skillsExcellent customer service skills, including telephone and listening skillsAbility to work within a team and to foster teamworkGood planning, organizational, and prioritization skillsProficient in MAC and OSProficient in Microsoft Office products Insight is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, sexual orientation or any other characteristic protected by law.
