Hitachi Energy IT have initiated an IT Transformation program for the set up and migration to a new “stand alone” global IT environment. We are looking for a talented IT individual to be part of building and operating a new IT function equipped to meet our future needs.
As a ServiceNow Business Analyst your role will be to work closely with the process managers, product owners and other stakeholders to understand their functional requirements and translate these requirements to functional specifications for the ServiceNow delivery teams to deliver.

Your Responsibilities
Liaise with the stakeholders and the process managers to understand their requirements and translate these requirements into functional specifications.Understand ServiceNow capabilities in detail and apply this knowledge to work collaboratively with the process managers to shape and develop solutions in ServiceNow.Document and manage the functional requirements and functional specifications as stories.Define acceptance criteria, test plans and test cases for the stories.Perform thorough testing for the solutions developed by the Technical developers / configurators to ensure the solutions meet the functional requirements.Maintain and update functional documentation for the solutions.Provide guidance or support to the technical delivery teams, guiding and monitoring task completion, sharing expert knowledge and advise without carrying line responsibility.Support the AMS team (ServiceNow Operations team) in the incident and problem resolution when functional verification is required.Living Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.
Your Background
Bachelor's or Master's degree in software engineering, computer systems, or similar preferred.At least 5 years of experience working as Functional / Business Analyst.Experience optimizing existing solutions in ServiceNow.ServiceNow Systems Administrator certification required.ITIL Foundation certificate required.ServiceNow Configuration / Development knowledge desirable.Demonstrated experience in dealing with business stakeholders, understanding their requirements and translating them to functional specifications.Demonstrated experience in working collaboratively in geographically dispersed team.Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required & ability to formulate complex topics in everyday language.
