Responsibilities:
Manage the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to ensure a highly reliable and accurate repository of all configuration items (CIs) that underpin the IT infrastructure and services1.Collaborate closely with IT and business stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure that the CMDB supports the organization’s objectives efficiently2.Utilize automated discovery and other data import methods to populate the CMDB3.Configure, implement, and troubleshoot ITOM Discovery configuration, credentials, ranges, schedules, and reconciliation processes3.Skills:
Strong knowledge of Configuration Item (CI) management using the CMDB1.Familiarity with CI types, relationships, and integrations with other ServiceNow features1.Experience in archival, de-duplication, completeness, and correctness of CMDB data1.Proficiency in ServiceNow development, including creating custom applications, modules, and workflows4.Ability to work with ServiceNow Discovery and integrate it with the CMDB5.
