Role Overview
We're seeking a Senior ServiceNow Software Engineer to join our diverse team. In this role, you'll support several large Department of Defense (DoD) programs. This opportunity is fully remote and requires the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance (we provide sponsorship). This is not a contract role but a full-time employee position with Peraton, offering benefits and paid time off.
Responsibilities
As a Senior ServiceNow Software Engineer, you will:
Configure software across various technical areas.
Analyze business requirements and develop technical solutions.
Design application modules, workflows, and catalog requests.
Deliver ServiceNow-based solutions for clients.
Support the development and maintenance of a software development environment covering the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, design, and deploy Cloud-based capabilities.
Provide technical support and guidance to various stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with government and corporate policies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience (or equivalent).
Demonstrable experience in developing and delivering ServiceNow applications.
Strong proficiency in scripting, Java, JavaScript, ITIL, and ServiceNow.
Experience with modern JavaScript libraries and HTML/CSS.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work effectively in distributed teams.
U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a SECRET clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Current Secret or above security clearance.
Working knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Advanced understanding of ITIL and Configuration Management Best Practices.
Familiarity with infrastructure tools, servers, databases, networking, and storage technologies.
CompTIA A+, Network+, and/or Security+ certifications.
Salary Range
$112,000 - $179,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
