ServiceNow Architect - ITOM (IT Operations Management)
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Architect specializing in IT Operations Management (ITOM) to join our dynamic IT team. As a ServiceNow Architect, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing ServiceNow ITOM solutions to enhance our organization's IT infrastructure and operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of the ServiceNow platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Architecture: Lead the design and architecture of ServiceNow ITOM solutions, including Discovery, Event Management, Operational Intelligence, Cloud Management, and Service Mapping. Implementation: Oversee the implementation of ITOM modules, ensuring alignment with business objectives and ITIL best practices. Customization and Configuration: Customize and configure ServiceNow ITOM applications to meet specific business requirements, ensuring optimal performance and scalability. Integration: Integrate ServiceNow ITOM with other IT systems and tools to streamline processes and enhance data accuracy and availability. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within IT operations, leveraging ServiceNow ITOM capabilities. Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to the IT team, ensuring best practices in ServiceNow development and administration. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of the ITOM architecture, configurations, workflows, and integrations. Training and Support: Conduct training sessions for IT staff and end-users on ServiceNow ITOM functionalities and best practices. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting as needed. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into effective ITOM solutions. Provide regular updates on project progress and deliverables. Stay Current: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in ServiceNow and ITOM technologies to ensure the organization leverages the most advanced solutions available.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience working with ServiceNow, with a focus on ITOM. Proven experience in designing and implementing ITOM solutions. Certifications: ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – ITOM, ServiceNow Certified System Administrator. Additional certifications in ServiceNow modules and ITIL v4 are highly desirable. Technical Skills: Proficient in ServiceNow development, including scripting, workflows, and integrations. Strong understanding of ITOM components such as Discovery, Event Management, and Service Mapping. Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex IT environments and develop effective solutions. Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Project Management: Experience in project management and the ability to lead projects from inception to completion. Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their integration with ServiceNow. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools. Knowledge of other ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITBM, and SecOps.
