Job Description
IT Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) is an essential component of our IT organization, providing support to our Pharmaceutical Research, Manufacturing, and Marketing organizations. Our goal is to radically simplify compliance and risk management, by taking a user-centric, risk-based approach leveraging automation and self-service. As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for helping discover, design and build the most valuable solutions in this space leveraging our ServiceNow platform. You will play a critical role engaging with business stakeholders and across multiple technology teams, driving development of enterprise solutions supporting our entire IT organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ServiceNow development, with a particular focus on the Integrated Risk Management (IRM) GRC module.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement customizations to our ServiceNow applications to meet business needsCollaborate with cross-functional teams around the world to ensure solutions meet requirementsProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developersAssist with code reviews and testingTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to our custom applicationsStay current with ServiceNow updates and new features to recommend and drive process improvementsHelp manage and maintain technical documentation
What We Need
3+ years ServiceNow development experienceProficiency in configuring UI policies and actions, client scripts, business rules, script includes and other ServiceNow componentsTechnical expertise in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON, REST & SOAPExperience creating and maintaining API and data integrations between ServiceNow and other systemsExcellent problem-solving and business analysis skillsTeam player with strong communication and interpersonal skillsFamiliarity with Scrum and Agile development processesA passion for great UX and relentless focus on business value
Preferred Experience And Skills
Hands-on experience with the ServiceNow GRC / Integrated Risk Management modulePharma background or experience in an other highly regulated industryServiceNow Certified Application DeveloperServiceNow Certified Implementation SpecialistStrong understanding of ITIL/ITSM processesUsing Jira to manage development activities
