Job Description
ServiceNow SecOps Specialist
ServiceNow SecOps Specialist assists the lead or works independently in designing, developing andimplementing Security Incidents and Vulnerability processes, conducting research and performinganalysis required to build respective modules within ServiceNow Platform, captures businessrequirements in a form of agile stories, as well as testing configured functionalities end to end as soon asthese have been developed.
Skills required: 3+ years of experience in Security, Vulnerability, Threat Intelligences Operations Good understanding and exposure to security operations processes across VM, TI, orchestration etc. Responsible for understanding and documenting the technical specification and implementingServiceNow Sec Ops module which includes Security Incident Response, Threat Intelligence andVulnerability Response, DLP and Configuration Compliance Responsible for development, implementation and integration of various components on theServiceNow SecOps modules Review customer’s security architecture and design process and system integrations to ServiceNowSecurity Operations. Writing, testing, and debugging common script types including Client Scripts, UI Policies, BusinessRules, and Script Includes, using JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, CSS and Jelly Should have experience working on UI Builder, Workspaces and portals. Configure solution environments to address customer requirements and business issues. Strong understanding of Networking and Security technologies: SIEM, IDS /IPS, vulnerabilitymanagement, end-point protection, breach detection and threat intelligence. Experience in security frameworks such as NIST 800-61, ISO27035, SANS, etc. Experience with threat intelligence frameworks, such as STIX/TAXII and OpenIOC. Responsible for understanding business and technical problems addressed by the products includingapplicable regulations, business drivers, security, and evolving business needs, etc. Interpersonal skills, to help negotiate priorities and to resolve conflicts among project stakeholders,such as clients and internal team members. Facilitation skills to assist gathering requirements in workshops and provide training to clients andinternal team members. Must have strong written and oral communication skills and be self-directed and independent.
