Job Description:We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the IT industry with extensive experience in ServiceNow platform configuration and development.
ResponsibilitiesPartner with business stakeholders to translate IT service management (ITSM) requirements into tailored ServiceNow configurations.Design and develop automated workflows using ServiceNow scripting (Glide, JavaScript) to streamline critical ITSM processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Crisis Management.Craft user-friendly Service Portal interfaces with widgets and pages to optimize the end-user experience.Integrate ServiceNow with third-party applications using IntegrationHub, REST APIs, and other methods to create a seamless ecosystem.Manage user accounts, security configurations, and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal ServiceNow performance and user satisfaction.Document configurations, customizations, and integrations for future reference and knowledge sharing.Continuously learn and stay updated on the latest ServiceNow features and best practices.Analyze and understand business requirements, translating them into technical solutions.Participate in all phases of project execution, including design, implementation, testing, and production support.Debug and resolve issues within the ServiceNow platform.Work effectively within a scrum team to deliver sprint goals.Develop and manage business rules, client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, and workflows.Utilize ServiceNow’s Virtual Agent, NLU, and IntegrationHub for automation and integrations.Provide training and knowledge transfer to team members and stakeholders as needed.Conduct unit testing and create related documentation.
Qualifications:5+ years of experience in ServiceNow administration and development.Strong understanding of ITSM principles and methodologies (ITIL preferred).Proven ability to configure, customize, and develop using ServiceNow scripting languages (Glide, JavaScript).Experience with ServiceNow integrations (IntegrationHub, REST APIs) and third-party applications.Demonstrated experience in Service Portal development and customization.Experience with Virtual Agent, NLU, and REST APIs.Proficiency in JavaScript and HTML.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.Ability to thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Certifications will be plus:ServiceNow Certified System AdministratorRelevant micro-certifications (e.g., Virtual Agent, Agile and Test Management)
Preferred Experience:Working on Agile methodology within a scrum team.Hands-on experience with ServiceNow upgrades and integration projects.Experience in creating and managing workflows and service catalogs.
