HubSpot is looking for a Senior ServiceNow Engineer to join our Business Technology team. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise to design, implement and own innovative solutions that empower our diverse business partners, including Finance, Legal, Security, People Operations, Success and Sales, and others to help drive operational efficiency and scalability within their operations.
This role resides within our Employee Technology group which comprises Business Systems Analysts, System Engineers and administrators responsible for HubSpot's IT server and application infrastructure.
In This Role You Will
Collaborate with stakeholders (process owners, service owners, Security, IT Infrastructure, IT Asset Management) to align requirements with platform capabilities.Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and story creation all the way through to solution development and testing.Develop innovative solutions that deliver high value business outcomes.Work with other ServiceNow engineersSupport the platform to ensure stability, upgradeability, integrity and efficient operation of the platform.Execute upgrades and install patch/fixes, Investigate and resolve incidents
We Are Looking For People Who Have
Valid ServiceNow Administrator certificationStrong understanding of and experience developing for the ServiceNow platformAbility to build or modify scripts using Javascript, HTML or other languages as necessaryExperience building new integrations with Integration HubFamiliarity with Flow Designer and UI BuilderArchitected and developed custom scoped applicationsExperience building custom portal widgets and IntegrationHub actionsKnowledge of REST APIStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to coach junior developers and lead platform capability adoptionExcellent communication skills, including presenting technical information to non-technical audiences
Nice To Have
Software development experience outside of ServiceNowExposure to various ServiceNow platform products like ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, CMDB, GRC, Security Operations, CSM, Scoped/Custom Applications
