ServiceNow Architect
I. BACKGROUND
Due to the expanding needs of its User Services team, The Client for Reconstruction and Development (the CLIENT or the Bank) is seeking to engage a ServiceNow Architect with extensive experience to enhance its IT capabilities. The successful candidate will be stationed within the Bank's IT department at the London headquarters building.
The ServiceNow Architect will play a pivotal role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of ServiceNow solutions, with a particular focus on HR Service Delivery (HRSD) implementation. Additionally, the candidate will be expected to contribute to development tasks and business analysis activities, including story writing.
II. OBJECTIVE OF ASSIGNMENT
The Primary Objectives Of This Assignment Are
Lead technical architecture efforts related to ServiceNow, with a specific focus on HRSD implementation.Provide expertise in architecture and design, ensuring alignment with business requirements and strategic objectives.Undertake development tasks as required, contributing to the enhancement and maintenance of ServiceNow solutions.Perform business analysis work, including story writing, to support the iterative development process.
III. SCOPE OF SERVICES AND WORK
The ServiceNow Architect will be responsible for the following tasks:
Lead technical architecture initiatives, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards.
Design, implement, and maintain ServiceNow solutions, with a specific emphasis on HRSD.
Undertake development tasks, including customization and integration efforts within the ServiceNow platform.
Conduct business analysis activities, collaborating with stakeholders to elicit and document requirements.
Write user stories and acceptance criteria to guide development efforts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address operational challenges and meet business objectives.
IV. IMPLEMENTATION ARRANGEMENTS
The ServiceNow Architect will operate under the direct supervision of the Information Systems Manager and collaborate closely with other members of the User Services team. Regular communication and reporting will be established to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
V. DELIVERABLES
The Consultant Shall Provide The Following Deliverables
Architecture and design documents for ServiceNow solutions, including HRSD implementation.
Development tasks completed in accordance with project requirements and timelines.
Business analysis artifacts, such as user stories and acceptance criteria, to support iterative development.
Regular progress updates and status reports to the Information Systems Manager and relevant stakeholders.
Essential
Expected Skills and Experience
5+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Architect, with a focus on HRSD implementation.
Proven track record in leading technical architecture efforts within the ServiceNow platform.
Strong proficiency in development tasks, including customization and integration within ServiceNow.
Extensive experience in business analysis, particularly in eliciting and documenting requirements.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong organizational skills and capability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Positive attitude towards learning new skills and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Desirable
Certification in ServiceNow (e.g., Certified Implementation Specialist).
Previous experience with QA audit processes.
Knowledge of SQL for data analysis and reporting purposes.
