Purpose of the job:
We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Architect to join our expanding team within Markets & Securities Services Operations Technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for architecture oversight and governance across the ServiceNow platform, which is built on the ServiceNow Financial Services Operations (FSO) product.
Responsible for:
Working with the global delivery teams to provide architectural oversight across the ServiceNow platformCollaborating with the wider Architecture community to ensure consistency in approach and adherence to architecture governance across the division Providing input to and ServiceNow design discussions and decisionsEnsuring that design principles and governance are followed, and any customisation of the ServiceNow platform is minimisedRunning weekly Technical Design Working Group to review and approve designs and user storiesProviding technical assistance to the team with the build and support of the ServiceNow instances (non-production and production) and MID serversProviding suggestions for improvements (e.g. security enhancements, monitoring, reporting, etc) to ensure the platform is secure, robust and scalable Providing oversight of ServiceNow upgrades, carried out annually (at minimum)
ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE / COMPETENCIES
• ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA)• Deep knowledge of ServiceNow solutions, including CSM product• Experience of architecting in an enterprise environment with multiple integration points• Experience in the design and implementation of ServiceNow solutions• Experience in architecting and deploying large-scale ServiceNow implementations• Strong analytical skills to identify problems and recommend solutions that meet business requirements• Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with users, stakeholders and team members• Ability to work independently and take ownership of architecture function• Must be a team player• Experience with web technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, etc.)• ServiceNow Certified Master Architect (CMA)• Experience of ServiceNow FSO product
