This position is for a Software Application Engineer who will be working on core infrastructure and enterprise workflow functionality. This role will be responsible for the design and development of end-to-end features in current and future products, collaborating with business leaders and product managers to build applications that make teams more efficient. This role necessitates a profound comprehension of the ServiceNow platform, encompassing its modules and features. Additionally, a focus on value delivery, problem-solving, and excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial aspects of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborating with stakeholders/customers to gather and understand requirements.Design and Develop features for infrastructure and enterprise workflow solutions.Customize and configure ServiceNow modules, forms, and workflows to meet business needs.Integrate ServiceNow with other systems and applications as needed. Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions, including design documents.Conduct thorough testing of developed solutions to ensure functionality, performance, and security. Update Manual test scripts and Automated test framework.Recommending modifications to processes and procedures, and contributing to best practices, architecture and implementationsPromoting and soliciting ideas within project teams; may lead certain elements of projectsProvide support for deployed ServiceNow solutions. Investigate and resolve issues, troubleshoot problems, and ensure the stability of the platform.
Required Qualifications
Graduate degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field 6-9 years of hands-on experience in designing and developing solutions on the Servicenow platform.Experience working with Javascript, GlideScripts and Servicenow scripting languagesServicenow Developer Certification is highly desirable.In-Depth Knowledge of IT Service Management(ITSM) processes and best practices.Comprehensive knowledge of software engineering processes, tools, methods, test, development and supportExperience with Servicenow integration processes using REST, SOAP and Integration Hub.Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
