OverviewAzooa is seeking a skilled and experienced ServiceNow Technical Lead to support the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) in delivering and supporting a range of ICT projects and programs. Azooa is a rapidly growing digital innovator dedicated to providing top-notch resources to the Federal Government, particularly within the Australian Capital Territory (ACT).ResponsibilitiesAs the ServiceNow Technical Lead, you will:๐ Lead and mentor a development team, setting priorities, allocating tasks, and fostering a high-performance culture.๐ Develop and maintain plans and schedules to ensure timely, within-budget, and high-quality milestone delivery.๐ก Design, develop, test, and implement solutions in collaboration with clients and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with AEC frameworks and standards.๐ Document best practices for ServiceNow development and assist in knowledge transfer to enhance agency capability.โ๏ธ Perform regular maintenance and upgrades to ensure system stability.๐ง Liaise with technical teams and business staff for rapid issue resolution in fielded and under-development ServiceNow applications.๐ Contribute to continuous improvement by staying updated on new ServiceNow features and providing recommendations for enhancements.๐ค Collaborate with vendors and mitigate delivery risks and issues.๐ฏ Work within Agile teams or business-as-usual areas as directed.About the Team/ProjectChief Information Officer Division (CIOD)The CIOD is part of the AEC's Enterprise Transformation Group (ETG) and leads robust ICT functions and capabilities. The division supports projects such as the Modern Workplace Program, Cloud Technology Project, Polling Place Technology Project, and the Election Systems Modernisation Program (Indigo Program).Key Personnel ExperienceMandatory Criteriaโ Proven leadership and mentoring skills in a development team using Agile methodology.โ Hands-on experience across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) as a conduit between business and technical teams.โ Expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining ServiceNow applications and integrations, including ITSM, ITOM, and HR.โ Proficiency in developing and customising ServiceNow modules, workflows, forms, and scripts.โ Experience in monitoring system health and proactively addressing issues to minimise downtime.โ Familiarity with Microsoft development practices, platforms, and technologies (Office 365, SharePoint, Azure DevOps).โ Excellent communication skills, able to convey technical information in plain English.โ Ability to manage and deliver high-quality results within time constraints and competing priorities.โ Knowledge of Commonwealth Government ICT frameworks.Desirable Criteria๐ Tertiary qualifications or industry certifications in Information Management, Computer Science, or related fields.๐ ServiceNow certifications such as Certified Administrator (CSA), Implementation Specialist ITSM (CIS-ITSM), or Application Developer (CAD).๐ Knowledge of IT frameworks like ITIL and TOGAF.๐ Experience in large-scale ICT transformation projects, preferably within a Commonwealth Government setting.Why Azooa?Join Azooa and be part of a dynamic team that drives digital innovation for the Federal Government.
