Solugenix is assisting a client, a large financial services company, in their search for an ServiceNow Technical Writer. This is a 5 Month contract position (with possible chances of extension) and 100% Remote.
We are currently seeking a ServiceNow Technical Writer who is responsible for analyzing, writing, editing, and publishing policies and procedures. This requires updating policies and procedures based on subject matter input and gap analysis of existing content. The purpose of this position is to analyze policy and procedure requests to ensure consistency between regulatory requirements and stated policy.
Minimum Qualifications:
At least 3 years’ experience writing policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have prior experience developing technical documents that developers read (things like developer guides, product guides, etc.)Experience documenting the ServiceNow cloud platform. Basic understanding of Information Mapping methodology. Should be comfortable talking to the subject matter experts and leveraging what they already have. Should be a self-starter and be able to collaborate remotely.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience as a technical writer in one or more greenfield ServiceNow Implementation Projects. Familiarity with the ServiceNow CMDB. Familiarity with the CSDM model (v3.0 or v4.0). Familiarity with integration terminology (e.g., REST, JSON).
Responsibilities:
Writes documentation for future maintenance, how to guides, quick step guides, configuration guides, etc. Analyze current policies and procedures for areas of improvement, identified gaps, or process questions. Develop policies and procedures for ServiceNow enterprise projects. Review documents for style, clarity, grammar, and punctuation. Use policy and procedure tools (such as Microsoft Word and MadCap Flare) to publish and maintain policies and procedures. Follow up with document owners and SMEs. Update database and provide follow up.
Additional responsibilities include:
Responsible for the collaboration with internal customers and Solugenix project delivery team. Collaborate with business stakeholders to review and clarify business requirements. Work cross-functionally with key-stakeholders, colleagues, and end-users. Other duties as assigned.
