Overview

Seeking a well-organized and motivated Systems Engineer to join our Endpoint Security team. The candidate will be able to hit the ground running as part of the infrastructure End User Compute group at our Fortune 300 company with nationwide reach. This position reports to our Jacksonville, Florida corporate headquarters. FL candidates preferred, will consider a highly matched candidate for remote work.

Duties

Architects, administrates, and maintains systems management platforms for the enterprise. Responds to service incidents and acts as an escalation point for enterprise IT staff for Windows platform issues and Corporate IT standards. Strict adherence to change control and communications policies and procedures. As part of a team, establishes and maintains technical standards, policies, and procedures for the enterprise, as they relate to systems management on endpoints, including workstations and servers. Management of operating systems as Enterprise standards including Windows Client, Windows Server, macOS, and Linux distributions, and maintenance of said OS's using management platforms. Implements policies and maintains policy compliance working across disciplines in IT and across lines of business. Manages projects within end user computing disciplines including vendor management and coordination with internal teams. Formally and informally share knowledge and expertise with peers.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience

Experience

Experience migrating MCM features to Tanium.

Microsoft Intune PowerShell scripting SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) or Power BI report creation and maintenance Windows and Linux patching using an enterprise platform Operating system and application hardening and compliance Experience with ServiceNow or another service management platform. Strong documentation skillset. Ability to effectively communicate with various levels of IT across multiple disciplines. Ability to internally market Corporate enterprise initiatives to internal customers both in and out of IT. Understanding of ITIL/Service Management processes. Experience with cloud hosted environments preferred, Azure skills a plus.
