What You'll DoIronArch Technology is currently seeking an Accessibility Auditor to join our team. - 100% Remote Work Location
The Accessibility Auditor will focus primarily on completing digital accessibility audits for a variety of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). They will be responsible for following auditing procedures for a large, centralized accessibility program for a federal agency. Audit content will include multiple media types such as web hosted, SharePoint, mobile, multimedia, self-contained/Closed products, Desktop products, websites, eLearning, Microsoft office documents, and PDFs.
Requirements
- Perform accessibility auditing using assistive technology and other tools on a wide range of ICT
- Document accessibility compliance in audit reports that include specific reference to WCAG 2.0 Level A, AA compliance and recommended solution that is easy to understand by both technical and non-technical audiences
- Knowledge of Section 508 Standards and WCAG 2.0 Level A, AA guidelines
- Ability to obtain DHS Trusted Tester certification
- Familiarity with SharePoint, Teams, ServiceNow, Jira or similar collaboration and task management tools
- 1-3 years of experience working with manual testing of relevant documents or electronic document technologies
- 1-3 years working with web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PDF
- 1-3 years working with assistive technology such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, ZoomText, Talkback, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:- At least 1 year of experience supporting a Federal Customer
- Familiarity with Agile practices and experience in execution strongly preferred
- DHS Trusted Tester Certification
- Associates degree or Trusted Tester Certification required
