Long Description
ServiceNow HRSD Sr. Development Engineer provides input to multi-year roadmap for Honda’s ServiceNow Platform, including consultation on platform expansion, customer growth, service implementation timing as well as lends technical expertise to platform configuration/development standards.
Key Accountabilities:
Achieve goals for areas of responsibility.
Provide consultation to the business and customer for both internal and external on the technical possibilities of ServiceNow.
Ensure projects are successfully completed and IT business operational target are achieved by working closely with process owners, managers, ServiceNow, vendor teams, and development team members.
Responsible for development and configuration design by development team members through mentorship and code review.
Maintain Honda’s ServiceNow HRSD Platform.
Qualifying requirements:
Experience on ServiceNow, Database, Enterprise Level Service Platforms, of which 3 or more years of work experience on ServiceNow HRSD
Advanced working knowledge with ServiceNow Platform Model
Proficient in ServiceNow ITSM knowledge - Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Service Catalog management processes, Agile project management and Performance Analytics/ Dashboards
Understanding of HR Service Delivery (HRSD) related to common service level agreement (SLA) measurements.
Experience with creating and maintaining scripted REST APIs with expertise in out-of-box APIs such as the Table API.
Builder/component development and Test Management and Automated Test Framework are all a plus
Other job-specific qualifying requirements:
Ability to prioritize workload, work independently and within team, train junior staff
Good understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
Highly motivated and customer focused.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to convey technical information to a non-technical audience.
Leadership skills required for exceptional planning, organizational, analytical, problem solving and decision-making.
Ability to work well in a cross-functional, matrix management environment with a highly collaborative, team-oriented approach to problem solving.
Experience in defining measurable business performance improvements and in measuring "hard" business benefits.
Comfortable in discussing issues, strategy and negotiating with project managers.
